The Hole Trailhead (TH) is located approximately 9.6 miles north of Emery, Utah. Approximately 3.5 miles east/northeast of Emery on State Route (SR) 10, head north on Muddy Creek Road/County Road 801. Continue on Muddy Creek Road until you get to the Manti-LaSal National Forest boundary, approximately 3 miles. The road turns into Forest Road (FR) 0042. Continue on the FR for another 0.2 miles and the trailhead will be on the north.
