About Soldier Creek Vacation Cabin

Overview This large vacation cabin is next to the beautiful Strawberry Reservoir at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Visitors flock to Strawberry for its great fishing, boating and trail opportunities. Recreation Strawberry Reservoir offers excellent boating, water skiing and canoeing. Anglers fish for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout and Kokanee salmon. There is beach access at Soldier Creek Day Use Area and a boat ramp, marina, boat rentals, fish cleaning station and small general store located nearby. Other popular activities in the Strawberry area include hiking, biking and horseback riding. Facilities The maximum capacity of the complex is 50 people. The Vacation house can sleep up to 16 people. There are 1 bedroom with a queen bed , one bedroom with 2 single beds, and 4 rooms with bunk beds. ADA bathroom on the main floor and community-style bathroom/ shower on the top floor. The gathering area is located on the main floor, equipped with sofas and chairs, TV and DVD player. Bring your linens, dishes, silverware, cups, and glasses, pots and pans are provided- fully equipped kitchen. Utilities are included. Maximum of 4 trailers. Natural Features The facility is set among sagebrush covered hills next to Strawberry Reservoir. There are sweeping views of the reservoir and surrounding hills and small pine trees dot the area. Nearby Attractions The Strawberry OHV Trail System offers 75 miles of trails. Hikers and mountain bikers enjoy the extensive trail system as well.
