Thunderbird Canyons Trail System: 12+ miles Recommended uses: mountain biking, hiking, and trail running Difficulty: intermediate and advanced Red Hollow is just east of Cedar City, UT; less then a mile up Cedar Canyon on Highway 14. This trailhead is for mountain biking, hiking, trail running and climbing. The site has a kiosk and dirt parking area. Currently there is 12+ mile of trail with more miles of trail to come. Just across the highway is access to Cedar City Paved Trail System. From this trailhead there is access to a rock climbing area called the bowling alley. It is an east facing soft, slabby sandstone cliff. It does make for interesting climbing. Mountain Project provide more information on this climbing. How to Get There

Take exit 56 off the I-15 and head east on UT-56/W 200 N for 0.9miles. Turn right onto N Main St. and continue 0.2 miles. Turn left onto E Center St/UT-14. Trail head will be on the left in1.5 miles.
