About Hult Dam & Reservoir
This site, sometimes referred to as Horton Lake, Hult Marsh, Hult Reservoir, or Mill Pond, was developed in the early 1900s for logging operations. The reservoir and surrounding wetland is about 40 acres and supports a rich diversity of wildlife, fish, and plant species. How to Get There
This site is located 28 miles northwest of Eugene and 5 miles north of Horton. Access to this site is via Highway 36 and Lane County Road #3640. From Horton, follow the paved road #3640 for about one mile until it connects to BLM Road #15-35. Follow the gravel road for about one mile to access the recreation area.
