From Ruch, OR, turn left onto Upper Applegate Road and continue approximately 20.2 miles to the junction with Forest Road 1050 and Carberry Creek Road (Forest Road 1040). Turn left onto Upper Applegate Road (Forest Road 1050), and continue approximately 0.9 mile to Manzanita Creek Road, turning left. Stein Butte Trailhead will be on the right, at the New London Trailhead.
