How to Get There

From Lowell, OR, junction (about 1 mile south of Lowell on South Pioneer) travel approximately 15.5 miles east on Highway 58 and turn right onto Forest Road 5847 (Highway 58 Milepost 29.1). Forest Road 5847 is 2.4 miles west of the Middle Fork Ranger District office. Proceed 7.9 miles to the top of the ridge and turn right on Forest Road 555. The trailhead is located on the right side of the road about 0.25 miles from the road junction. The trail is on the left, parking on the right.
