This area is composed of a beautiful mixed conifer/aspen forest and sits at an elevation of 8,900 feet which provides Southern New Mexico an escape from summer heat on the desert floor. This campground is equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, parking, toilets, and a central garbage depository. Interpretive trails are also available.
