About Memorial Visitor Center

The visitor center is open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, 9 am–3 pm with a one-hour closure Noon–1 pm. At the visitor center, pick up park information, a map, and trail guides. Watch the 15-minute park film, which tells the story of Abraham Lincoln's youth. The film is shown upon request up to 30 minutes before closing. The Memorial Visitor Center also contains two memorial halls and the park museum which contains artifacts and exhibits that portray the life of Abraham Lincoln.

From Interstate 64, exit on US 231, (exit 57A). Travel south on US 231 to Indiana Highway 162 (about 6 miles). Take the Santa Claus/Gentryville exit. Turn west (right) on Indiana Highway 162; go 1-1/2 miles to the park entrance on the right.
