About Lake Dorr Day Use
A massive patch of blue in a sea of green - that's Lake Dorr, one of the prettiest big lakes in the Ocala National Forest. Experience outdoor recreation at either the Lake Dorr Recreation Area - campground or day use - or by renting the cabin for your family or group. Along the northwest shore of the lake, the recreation area is set under the deep shade of an oak hammock. Offering RV camping, we also have a boat ramp and picnic area overlooking the view. Lake Dorr is available on a first-come, first served basis only for day use. Visitors must physically arrive at the site to claim a parking spot. For convenience, passes may be purchased online in advance. Please note the purchase of a pass in advance does not guarantee parking availability. Alternatively, pay the fee after arriving on-site by scanning the QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app on Android or iOS prior to your arrival as there is poor cellular service at the site: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app
