To access the Big Trujillo River Take Out-Put In Site travel Rangely, CO. Then travel south off State Highway 64 near the Loaf N Jug gas station on the west side of town onto River Rd, which becomes County Road 2. Travel approx. 5 miles on County Road 2 and turn right on a dirt road just past the Entering Public Lands sign. Travel approx. 0.1 mile to the river access site which includes a parking area and easy river take-out/put-in site.
