From Applegate, OR, drive south on Upper Applegate road for 13 miles to the junction with Carberry Creek Road. Turn left and proceed 1.5 miles to the junction of Forest Roads 1040 and 1050. Forest Road 1040 takes a sharp turn to the right, however by traveling straight ahead you will be on Forest Road 1050. Travel approximately 3 miles to the designated trailhead.
