About Woodward Winter Trailhead

Woodward is an undeveloped staging area with no facilities and located 1/4 mile south of Montecito Sequoia Resort and General's Highway. The trailhead provides access to the groomed Big Meadows Road via the Forest Trail. There are no facilities or services in this area other than Montecito Sequoia Resort. Review the winter OSV map for details.All snowmobiles are required to be registered with the state and have a current "Green Sticker" affixed to the vehicle. Snowmobiling is not allowed in Wilderness Areas or on trails designated for cross-country skiing. All snowmobile routes & trails are open to cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow play.
