About Yellowjacket Creek Recreation Area

Overview Yellowjacket Creek Recreation Area offers a designated swim beach and boat launching facilities. The boat launch facilities open year-round, while the swim beach is operated from May through Labor Day annually. Contact Info This location is unstaffed. To speak with our main office for general information, please call: (706) 645-2937.Charges & Cancellations Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the reservation date in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued after the date of the reservation. Reservations will not be refunded due to weather related issues.

Take Georgia Highway 109 approximately two miles west of LaGrange and turn right on Whitaker Road. Go to the T-intersection and turn left on Cameron Mill Road. Turn right into the Yellowjacket boat ramp area and immediately left is the shelter.
